Contemporary Parfleche Bonnet Case Cylinder (Whitetail Rawhide, Braintan)

This is a beautifully crafted contemporary Parfleche Bonnet case, cylinder-shaped and made from whitetail deer rawhide. It features a smoked, braintanned deer shoulder strap and long, flowing fringe. Round closures secure both ends, tied on with additional fringe. The top functions as a flap for easy access. Long fringe runs along the side seam, adding a more detailed look. The hand-painted design was done using earth paints, then finished with a light, thinned brown dye wash to give the case a subtle vintage patina.
