$U350,00
18th Century Wrought Iron Betty Lantern | Original Spike | Estate Find | Primitive Colonial Lighting This is a genuine 1700s wrought iron Betty lantern, straight from an old estate sale. It still has its original spike hanger, though the chain and wick pick are no longer present. The grease pan is in solid condition and remarkably still holds an old wrapped cotton rag and period grease — a rare survivor from the time. The lid operates smoothly, and the lantern shows honest wear appropriate to its age. A great, untouched piece for collectors of early lighting or primitive Americana.
